Telecom Engineer (m/f)

Your Mission:

You will be part of the Technical Core Network Team and will share responsibilities to lead, to develop and implement new products and services. You will assist the Senior Engineers to install, manage and monitor core network elements.
You will provide technical support for internal and external Telecom (especially VoIP) users ensuring quality service at all times.
You will assist company product developments through rigorous testing.


For this position, we are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

Must have:

  • good understanding of fundamental telecom operations especially VoIP/SIP (in a hands-on telephony role)
  • basic understanding of IP network operations (Ethernet, VLAN, addressing, IPv6, DHCP(v6), routing, BGP4+, OSPF)
  • passion to deliver high quality products and services through personal involvement
  • high focus on Team Work and capability to deliver results in a start-up mentality environment (small, flexible structure)
  • attention to detail and good sense of autonomy and decision-making
  • fluent in English and good working knowledge of either German or French (minimum European Language Level B2)

Nice to have:

  • legacy telecom knowledge is considered as an asset
  • Luxembourgish and/or other languages considered as an asset
  • Passion for innovation in telecoms

Your profile:

  • Technical degree or equivalent, experience within telephony/IP-based environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills / learning skills
  • Willing to teach & support non-technical staff and interact with customers
  • Enthusiastic and motivated personality willing to accept greater responsibility
